as A KID born IN THE SOUTHSIDE OF VIRGINIA IT WAS A VERY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE FOR ME.
BORN IN CHESAPEAKE BUT ACTIVLY RELOCATING EVERYWHERE IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.
I GENUINLY FEEL THAT I WAS BLESSED TO be able to DABBLE INTO
EVERY FORM OF CULTURE around.
as a kid i was ALWAYS SURROUNDED BY A CAMERA but I NEVER KNEW
i WOULD HAVE ENDED UP PICKING THE CRAFT UP & finding the passion i have now!
MY MOTHER shot portraits & would ALWAYS take ME WITH HER.
EVERY PHOTOSHOOT GROWING UP I WAS IN CHARGE OF SETUP & CARRYING GEAR.
my sister amanda ran a photography business when she got around her mid twenty’s,
Focusing more on weddings and engagement shoots.
we all have different genre’s & avenues but we all have the same passion.
growing up.
growing up as an only child i watched my parents & family struggle with money and Income my whole childhood.
i told myself i refuse to be that individual when i became an adult.
from the age of 18 to 20 i was working regular jobs trying to make a living and learning the whole adulting aspect of life entirely.
for my 20th birthday i decided to finance a camera and pick up the craft.
which was by far the best decision i have ever made to date.
the last 4 years i have spent focusing and studying an consistently learning everyday.
Between absorbing basic camera knowledge and programs all the way to eventually learning how to conduct professional business.
early ambition.
the past 4 years of learning and grinding everyday eventually led me to this journey of life.
early 2024 my goal for this year were to scale and network with many other creators, business owners, entreprenuers & even other media agencies.
in the process of networking from the goals i set early in the year, i quickly came to the realization that i was already running a business but unfortunately i just wasn’t branded appropriately.
